About the Owner

Bryan Haarlander, EA

Bryan HaarlanderBryan is the owner of Keystone Financial Solutions, Inc., a tax and accounting firm that specializes in tax resolution, tax preparation, and consulting. Bryan is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) with over 20 years of experience.

Many new clients find themselves owing the IRS money and are behind on their tax filings. My passion is working closely with these clients to resolve their tax problems by navigating the IRS system to achieve the most desired results.

In addition, our firm also services a wide array of clientele, both business owners and individuals by preparing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. We also provide tax planning and consulting. I don’t advise people to do things just for the sake of lowering their tax bill in the short term. Everything I advise my clients to do is based on a long-term strategy to help them grow and save money. I love the one-on-one interactions with individuals and small business owners. Taxes and accounting are a great mystery to so many people. My passion is helping people get those extra tax deductions they didn’t realize they were eligible for and keeping small businesses on track with their finances.

Bryan is the co-author of the book “How to Resolve Your IRS Tax Debt Problems”. This book explains in plain English how the IRS collection process works, how the offer in compromise program works (paying less than the full amount owed), what is required to begin an installment repayment plan with the IRS, how to abate penalties and other IRS resolution alternatives available to a taxpayer to stop those collection notices. Bryan also co-authored the book “Empower Your Business to Reach Its Full Potential”. This is a must-read for any entrepreneur who is looking to start or grow their business. We have summarized the necessary steps that need to be taken when starting a business and have offered suggestions as to how existing businesses can reinvent themselves as market conditions change. This book can be used as a roadmap by new and existing business owners to achieve business success.

Bryan has lectured on tax resolution topics to other tax professionals. He has made numerous presentations to realtors and other business owners to show them how to minimize their taxes and survive an IRS audit. He has also been an instructor, teaching new practitioners how to prepare tax returns.

Bryan is a graduate of Penn State University.

My contributions to the community outside of work include volunteering with the Police Athletic League (PAL) and serving as a board member and Treasurer of my community’s HOA.
